The results changed everything. I became obsessed - not just with transforming my skin, but with understanding it. With a science degree behind me, I dove headfirst into learning the why behind every product and treatment. I invested every penny I earned back into advanced training, business coaching and building my knowledge.
Word quickly spread about the results I was achieving for my clients, and before I knew it, the part-time business I ran alongside my full-time job completely overtook my employed income!
After struggling with adult acne in my early 20s and spending thousands on products and treatments that didn’t work, I finally discovered a brilliant aesthetics practitioner who introduced me to chemical peels.
Welcome
In 2020, I made the bold decision to open my own skin clinic, Kelly Rose Skin Clinic® and quit my job. Two weeks later, we went into lockdown.
With my clinic forced to close, I pivoted fast - launching an online skincare store and learning how to leverage email marketing and social media to grow my brand. It worked. When restrictions lifted, I reopened to a fully booked calendar. I hired my first team member, and in a moment I’ll always cherish, my mum was able to quit her job and come work with me - something I’d dreamed about for years.
We became fully booked consistently and developed a second stream of income through national product sales. I even launched my own product line - Kelly Rose Skincare® — and was featured as a skincare expert in the Metro, Kent Online, and House of Coco. I also won 12 awards including Skincare Specialist of the Year and Business Woman of the Year.
But in 2021, everything shifted. My dad passed away, and I was forced to take a hard look at my life. I had the successful business, but no time, no peace, and no life outside of work. I looked accomplished on the outside but felt completely burnt out on the inside.
As my clinic flourished, other business owners began reaching out, asking how I’d done it. I started mentoring behind the scenes and quickly realised: I had a gift not just for skincare, but for empowering others to succeed too.
I closed my clinic.
Everyone thought I’d lost it - but deep down, I knew I needed to reset, realign, and live. I travelled to Dubai, Iceland, Norway, Finland, Santorini, Spain, Lake Garda, Mexico, Canada - and reconnected with me. I invested heavily in personal development, rebuilt my life outside of work, and finally found clarity.
When I returned, I reopened my diary, but on my own terms! Part-time, with premium prices and only during the hours I wanted to work. And guess what? I was fully booked from day one.
So I did something radical.

My mission now is simple: to help others build wildly successful businesses that also give them the freedom to live fully. Because success isn’t just about income.

Since then, I’ve launched two new brands:
Kelly Rose x
2013 – Struggled with adult acne - sparking a deep passion for skincare.
2018 – Launched Beauty By Kelly Rose, offering a range of beauty treatments.
2019 – My part-time business outgrew my full-time income.
March 2020 – Opened my own skin clinic and quit my job - just two weeks before lockdown.
April 2020 – Pivoted online, launched an online skincare store, and mastered social media + email marketing, started mentoring other businesses. Won my first 3 awards with Kent Health & Beauty Awards and HBA UK.
Late 2020 – Reopened fully booked, hired my first team member, and my mum joined the business. Hit £100k revenue.
2021 – Launched my skincare range, Kelly Rose Skincare® and was featured in The Metro, Kent Online and House of Coco. Won Business Woman of the Year at the Social Media Hair and Beauty Awards and Beauty Salon of the Year at Kent Health and Beauty Awards.
Late 2021 – My dad passed away - leading to major reflection and a decision to close the clinic.
Early 2022 – Won Skincare Specialist of the Year at The British Hair and Beauty Awards and Industry Trainer of the Year at Kent Health and Beauty Awards.
Late 2022 - Took time to travel and invest in personal development.
2023 – Reopened my business on my terms - and was fully booked from day one.
2023 – Launched The Beauty & Skincare Awards UK™ to celebrate industry excellence.
2024 - The Beauty & Skincare Awards UK™ held it's first live awards ceremony with 200 attendees
2025 – Launched Beauty Business Elevation Live, a series of educational events for Beauty Business Owners and launched The Skin Clinic Expert™ to help other Skin Clinics earn more, and work less.
